About Me

Hi, I’m Claire.  I work in innovation, leadership development and business change. I use creativity and collaboration to help people solve challenges in organisations and beyond.

I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, auntie, niece, cousin and loyal friend to many.

I was diagnosed with a stage 3, grade 3 ductal carcinoma of triple negative breast cancer in May 2018.  I am now stage 4 because my primary cancer has moved elsewhere in my body.  I have been undergoing treatment since June 2018.

Up until now I have dealt with the diagnosis in a focused, practical and somewhat detached way.  A very real problem for me to solve, and an approach that served me well at the beginning.  I am now trying to process some of the emotional aspects of a diagnosis and understand how we can all accommodate and live with cancer rather than stigmatise it.
