Seaside Ramble
Back here again brings me sadness,
Family memories flooding in,
Wondering whether I’ll be back as kin,
Wind is whistling, sea is surging, danger at the cliffs
I love the sea; it makes me feel small and insignificant,
Being at the centre of our family’s storm gives attention I do not crave,
These poems are a way to rant
And maybe understand me from the grave…
